THE BRENTWOOD HOTEL
Once-upon-a-time, a Scotsman bought a piece of flat land along the ridge of the hill station of Mussoorie overlooking the expanse of the Doon Valley. He named his home in the hills ‘Glenlyon Estate’ after what Sir Walter Scott calls ‘the longest, loneliest and loveliest’ glen in all of Scotland.
With the passage of years, with a few changes of hands, on 19th July 1979, from an Irish cottage atop a spur, like a phoenix rose Brentwood. Soon enough the property grew to become the pride of the Queen of Hills Mussoorie into what we today call Hotel Brentwood.
